IES FAQ Answers
Free Trials

If you download and run IES products without a license, you can register and run it using a Free Trial license. Free trials have a 14-day limit to allow you time to evaluate the features and are fully functional during the trial period.

Starting a Free Trial

  1. Download and install the product from the IES web site
  2. Run the product to register (Internet required)
  3. An unlock code will be emailed to you by an automated system.
  4. Enter the code to run the software.

Free Trial Issues

The registration process requires that you enter a valid, non-temporary, email address. If you are not already in our system, you will need to include your full contact information. Your default web browser will open to a window where you enter this information. We automatically verify address information and also a human looks at it. We will reject garbage or fictitious information and the trial will be terminated. We have a strict Privacy Policy and it is easy to 'unsubscribe' in the future.

The unlock code is generated and sent automatically. This code is good only for your email address, the machine you registered with and the product you registered. Free trials are not permitted on virtual machines.

If you do not see the email within several minutes check your spam folders. We do not generate codes manually.

The free trial of VisualAnalysis is the Advanced level.

If you have trouble registering, you may Contact Sales and we can verify that you are in our system or manually add you.

Expired Trials

Once expired, you must purchase the software to continue use.

Trials for Existing Customers

We currently do not allow existing customers to register for a Free Trial of a software product that you or your Company has a license for. If you need to evaluate the software, you should use your or your Company's existing license.
