VisualABC is a slimmed-down (low carb?) version of VisualAnalysis, designed specifically for beams and columns. It can check or design these using US and Canadian steel or wood specifications. If you only need to design beams and columns it is faster and a bit 'smarter' than the more general-purpose VisualAnalysis.
Moving Loads in VisualAnalysis
VisualAnalysis 'Advanced' facilitates the analysis and design of crane girders and bridge girders. The feature produces lane-load-patterning for worst-case effects, calculates influence lines and reports a detailed envelope of results with references back to load locations causing the worst-case effect.
