VisualAnalysis Student Version
IES has provided low-cost VisualAnalysis software to schools since 1994. We offer free access to this product for structural analysis through universities. If your school does not have VisualAnalysis available for your use, please let your instructors know about it!
You may use VisualAnalysis free on campus, but you may wish to license your very own copy of the software for late-night access!
What is VisualAnalysis?
VisualAnalysis is a very graphical, simple tool for modeling civil/structural projects. You will use it to analyze beams, frames, trusses and the like to find forces, reactions, displacements and stresses. This tool will help you check homework problems and solve class assignments faster, and more accurately than ever. The student version is nearly identical to the commercial 'standard' level product, with a few limitations and restrictions.

You must be actively registered for classes at a qualifying university or college to obtain the student license. Licenses are just $20 and allow one full school year of use (expires in August). A 2-yr license is also available for $35. The software may be used for educational purposes only. Purchase your own student license using our secure on-line form with a major credit card, and then download it (normal business hours M-F 9-5, orders may take up to 2 business-days to process, though generally are processed within a couple hours.)
