What is VisualAnalysis?

VisualAnalysis is a very graphical, simple tool for modeling civil/structural projects.  At the same time it offers advanced nonlinear modeling features such as tension-only members, P-Delta analysis, and plate/shell elements, time history analysis and more.  Learn more about VisualAnalysis educational features.

History

VisualAnalysis began at Montana State University in the early 1990's under the direction of Dr. Dan VanLuchene.  In 1994, IES, Inc. took the technology into the private sector and VisualAnalysis has been a successful commercial product since.  IES has continued, faithful to its roots, making VisualAnalysis available to universities, assisting educators, and ensuring that students are learning on state-of-the-art tools.  Educators at over 200 universities and colleges in the USA and Canada have used VisualAnalysis to help in the classroom.
